A repository of practice exercises curated by your PHYS 3 instructors. This resource has two goals:

  1. Provide relevant practice for your exam preparation.
  2. Show you how to generate and vary physics questions yourself, so you can focus your practice on the concepts you find most challenging.

Study effectively

  • Always attempt the exercise independently first, before checking the solution or your notes.
  • Try to use only the equation sheet you're allowed to bring to the exam.
  • If you get stuck, that's a good sign. It tells you exactly where to refocus your studying — on the step that challenged you most.

About the AI-generated problems

Generative AI is used widely throughout this website. Every problem is curated — that is, checked — by your instructors, and the prompts used to generate them are provided. Use those prompts as starting points to continue your own practice. And if you design an interesting exercise, share it with us!

Note! When you use generative AI to create or modify exercises on this site, remember that the output may contain errors, outdated information, or ambiguous wording. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI‑generated content before relying on it for study, teaching, or assessment, and the platform makes no guarantees about its accuracy or completeness. Use AI‑produced material only as a starting point and verify it against trusted resources.
